Car hire at Faro Airport: what it costs, month by month

The table

Cheapest found is the single cheapest car, at the price shown when booking (it appears once enough searches record it; the deposit and any desk charges are on each car in the search). Low end: only 1 car in 10 costs less than this. Middle is the typical car. + second driver and + full cover add each car's own quoted fee and DiscoverCars' Full Coverage price - only cars that quote them count, never as free; those rows appear as searches record them (from 27 September).

Months not in the table have not been measured yet - we add one as soon as enough searches back it, and never estimate.

What the numbers say about Faro Airport

• Of the months we have measured, November 2026 is the cheapest time to start a week here (€7.27 a day at the low end) and October 2026 the dearest (€27.80 a day for the typical car).
• At the low end, a month cost more per day than a week (€13.52 against €7.78 for October 2026 pick-ups): several of the cheapest suppliers do not offer long rentals at their weekly price, so a chain of shorter rentals can win.
• None of these figures includes a second driver: 90% of suppliers here charge for one, typically €60 per rental.

Before you compare prices

• A second driver is extra at most suppliers here - typically €60 per rental.
• The deposit held on the main driver's credit card is typically €1,100 - even with full cover bought when booking.
• Almost every car is free to cancel (100% of offers): book early, search again nearer the date, rebook if it drops.
